Description
Do you want to earn college credit while learning about different careers in health care? Join our summer camp that includes a one-credit college class. Campers will have the opportunity to take Medical Terminology (1-credit hour class) in the morning followed by an interactive health career camp experience in the afternoon. In class, students will learn how to decode medical language by mastering the combination of common roots, prefixes and suffixes used in describing the various systems in the human body. At camp, they will gain experience in a variety of health care settings. The camp experience is the same as that provided in our 2-Day camp.
This camp is for students entering their sophomore, junior or senior year in high school who want to take a college class and earn one credit hour in addition to the camp activities.
Cost: $300, includes lunch.
If you qualify for Free/Reduced Meals and would like to learn more about available financial assistance, please contact Katherine Karcher at katherine.karcher@bryanhealth.org or text 402-326-4925.
NOTE: You must submit payment within 24 hours of registration, otherwise the system will automatically cancel your registration. For help, contact our office at 402-481-8697 or text 402-326-4925.
